Deb Heatherly's Aptitude Quilt Pattern can be made into two sizes, a 60" by 74" lap blanket or an 84" square, queen-sized quilt. This pattern only uses three fabric prints, but it does require a substantial amount of cutting, and to make it easier, it's recommended that you use Creative Grids Kitty Cornered Ruler (not included).
