Made using 100% New Zealand wool, these mats have dense fibers that simultaneously iron both sides of the fabric for quicker professional-level results. Felt mats are porous, allowing steam and heat to pass through, so make sure you place the mat on a suitable work surface. While these mats are iron-friendly, please note they are not iron rests. Wool is a natural fiber that will scorch with prolonged exposure to heat; this includes an auto-lift iron in the raised position. Reduce the temperature or use a silicone iron rest when leaving a hot iron in one place for an extended period.
