Description

Husqvarna Viking Clear N’ Melt is a revolutionary heat-removable film stabilizer designed for both topping and backing applications. Unlike traditional stabilizers that require water for removal, Clear N’ Melt instantly disappears with a low to medium heat setting on an iron, providing a quick and mess-free finish. This stabilizer won’t stick to irons, ironing board covers, or fabrics, making it easy to use and safe for a variety of stable materials. It’s perfect for embroidery, appliqué, and decorative stitching, ensuring clean and precise results without stiffness or residue. Measuring 12” x 15 yards, Husqvarna Viking Clear N’ Melt offers a versatile and efficient solution for achieving crisp, professional embroidery finishes with effortless removal.

Recommended Use:
Use as a topping to prevent nap or pile from showing through stitches and to keep embroidery smooth on uneven surfaces or coarse weave fabrics, preventing stitches from sinking. As a backing, this film provides stability for designs with fill areas, monograms, and appliqué. Not recommended for lace designs or small, open design areas.

How to Use as a Topper:

  1. Place on Top Before Hooping Position Clear N Melt over the fabric before hooping.
  2. Add After Hooping (Alternative Method) Hoop the fabric first, then place Clear N Melt on top.
  3. Secure with a Basting Stitch If your embroidery machine has a built-in basting stitch, use it to hold the stabilizer in place.

How to Use as a Backing:

  1. Position on the Wrong Side Place Clear N Melt on the back of the fabric for added stability.
  2. Hoop Together Hoop the fabric and stabilizer as one piece to provide even support.

How to Remove:

  1. Tear Away Excess Stabilizer Once embroidery is complete, gently tear away as much of the stabilizer as possible.
  2. Melt Remaining Residue
Set a dry hand iron to a low to medium heat setting.
    Rinse thoroughly in warm water.
Iron back and forth over the film, allowing it to dissipate into tiny particles that can be brushed off.
Direct contact with the iron is necessary for complete removal.

Important Note:

  1. Never use a hot iron, as excessive heat may damage fabric.

  1. Not recommended for small, detailed areas where the iron tip cannot make contact.

The Husqvarna Viking Clear N Melt Stabilizer is perfect for projects requiring temporary stabilization, offering clean, residue-free embroidery results with easy heat removal.
