Aurifil's thread is a two-ply, long staple Egyptian cotton that has been mercerized to give it a radiant sheen and to make it stronger. Use the Necessities Thread Collection when embroidering, quilting, serging, or appliquing. This all-purpose, 50wt, thread that can be used on most sewing projects.
