To achieve this, each board is precisely shaped with a computer-controlled diamond tip router, eliminating the need for saws that leave sharp edges. By Koala incorporating this advanced design feature into their furniture, the wood core must be made from a dense, high-grade, 3/4 inch fiberboard with no imperfections.

Large Capacity, Full-Extension Drawers

Koala sewing furniture features full-extension drawers that glide smoothly open, and close softly. The silent soft-closing hydraulic cushion makes the drawers impossible to slam. The 5/8-inch framed drawer boxes combined with the steel drawer glides are weight-tested to hold up to 100 lbs., fully extended.

Exclusive Ergonomic Design

We’ve learned that in sewing, it begins with your line of sight and starts a chain reaction through your body. Koala’s exclusive ergonomic design begins with a studio height of 32 ½”. This height creates a perfect starting point that can accommodate any individual.

Your Koala studio comes with an adjustable base that can be set in any 1 of 5 different positions to create the perfect placement for your hips, knees, and feet. This allows you to be positioned ergonomically from head to toe, so you can comfortably sew or quilt for hours on end.

Optional Koala 3 Drawer Caddy

The Koala 3-drawer caddy pairs perfectly with your Maker center to create even more storage drawers for your notions, fabric, and patterns. It features three larger soft-close drawers on either side of your Maker Center.

Delivery Options

Front Door Delivery ($199)
A delivery team will unload your furniture at a safe place outside your home: front door entry, patio, garage, or other flat, level surface. Moving the furniture inside the home and assembly is the responsibility of the buyer.

Room of Choice Delivery ($399)
A delivery team will bring your furniture into your room of choice, upstairs or downstairs. The accessories will remain packaged and the assembly of the studio is the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure you add your phone number when checking out. Room of Choice requires a scheduled delivery window. The freight carrier will call to arrange a delivery time.
