The Sydney Lite is a leaner version of the Sydney XL, while still designed to support large machines weighing up to 65* pounds. This thoughtfully engineered cabinet boasts a rear quilt leaf, right-side leaf, left-hand drawer cover, embroidery spool holder, removable drawer tray insert, two lift options, and a dynamic space for storing your embroidery arm or additional storage shelves—ensuring everything has its place.

When fully extended, Sydney Lite provides plenty of workspace yet conveniently folds down to a compact 61" x 27" footprint. The locking top drawer offers security, keeping little hands and significant others out, while heavy-duty locking casters ensure stability and smooth movement. Plus, the sewing well cover panel maximizes your work surface when your machine is tucked away. Built for long creative sessions, Sydney Lite promotes better ergonomic posture, supports various sewing needs, and delivers exceptional convenience at every turn—all in a sleek, space-saving design.


Embroidery Arm

The Sydney includes three adjustable shelves to store notions and books, or if you don't need the shelves, you can turn the cubby into embroidery arm storage. An included, soft padded liner will cover the bottom to help protect your embroidery unit (cubby fits *most units). As an optional accessory, you can purchase a slide-out module for Bernina's or a side wire rack for larger units like the Janome M17. The cubby opening measures 26" x 24" x 8.5", but if you need help determining if your embroidery arm will fit, please call us at 888-824-1192.


Footprint

Small Footprint

The Sydney will need a dedicated sewing space in your home, but with its collapsible leaves and heavy-duty casters, you can easily maneuver it. This cabinet can hold two machines, a sewing light, a cutting mat, thread racks, and more when fully opened with its large workspace. Now, it's hard to believe, but the Sydney collapses to just over 5' by 2' (the same size as a regular desk) for home-friendly storage! Kangaroo's Sydney leaves a small footprint but offers huge creative possibilities.

With the multiple quilt leaves on the Sydney, you will always have room! With over 22 square feet of workspace, you can prevent your fabric from pulling or lying on the floor. The large leaf in the back even has two support arms that are strong enough to hold a second sewing machine. The leaf on the side turns into a mini pressing station so you can easily sew, press, and repeat, all without having to leave your sewing station. Best of all, a 20-5/8" by 16-3/4" ironing pad is included.

Full View, Soft Close Drawers

The Sydney Cabinet features full-extension drawers that glide smoothly, open, and close softly. The soft-closing system makes the drawers practically impossible to slam. These three drawers accommodate your supplies and accessories and keep them within easy reach. The drawers include an embroidery spool thread holder and a removable drawer tray insert.

3-Position Hydraulic Lift

Seamlessly transition your sewing machine between free arm, flatbed, and storage positions with the hydraulic Sydney. The three-position hydraulic lift is easy to adjust. To go from one position to the next, simply press on the lift (table) until it clicks, and it will easily transition to the next position/level. The hydraulic cabinet is designed to support machines weighing up to 55 pounds.

Custom Inserts

Custom Cut Acrylic Insert

If you choose to add a custom insert for your table, please note we will need your machine's brand and model number. Each acrylic insert is custom-made to fit your machine and table combination. They are designed to fill the gap between your sewing machine and cabinet opening. This ergonomic work surface will allow for neater stitches, less fatigue, and a better sewing experience!

The Sydney cabinet will accommodate most machines with its 65-pound weight limit, but be sure to double-check this chart to ensure your machine will fit in the lift opening. Once fully assembled, the cabinet will weigh approximately 295 pounds (empty).

(Arrow) provides limited warranty coverage to the original purchaser of this product against defects in materials or workmanship of Arrow furniture components for ten years from the date of purchase. As used in this Warranty, "defect" means imperfections in components that substantially impair the product's utility. It may vary from state to state.

Contact Arrow at 1-800-533-7347 or [email protected] when requesting warranty service. You must also present proof of purchase documentation, including the date of purchase (detailed receipt) and product photos. Arrow Companies, LLC will replace any defective part (at its sole option), excluding labor. Replacement parts will be warranted for only the remaining period of the original Warranty.
