The vertical guidelines ensure consistent spacing between rows, while the horizontal guidelines help you match starting points and turn corners precisely at 1/4" (6mm) or 1/2" (12mm) intervals. Additionally, this versatile foot serves as an excellent guide for sewing Maxi stitches, making it an essential tool for decorative stitching, quilting, and embellishment projects.

How to Use:

Decorative Borders
1. Disengage the IDT™ System If your machine has the Integrated Dual Feed (IDT™) system, make sure to disengage it.
2. Attach the Multi-Line Decorative Foot Snap the foot onto your machine.
3. Select a Decorative Stitch Choose your preferred decorative stitch for your project.
4. Mark the Fabric Use a fabric marker or chalk to draw a guideline where the center of the stitching will be.
5. Use Stabilizer Place Tear-Away stabilizer under the fabric to ensure smooth stitching and prevent puckering.
6. Align and Sew the First Row
   Position the fabric under the presser foot, aligning the red center mark on the foot with the marked line on the fabric.
   Stitch the first row of decorative stitches.
7. Continue Stitching Parallel Rows
   Select another decorative stitch or continue with the same one.
   Move the fabric to the left and determine the desired distance between rows.
   Align the red horizontal lines on the foot with the starting point of each row.
   Sew, using the red vertical lines on the foot as a guide to maintain even spacing.
   
8. Create a Wider Decorative Border Continue adding more rows of decorative stitching to the left of center, using the guidelines for precision.
9. Finish Once completed, remove the Tear-Away stabilizer for a clean and professional finish.

How to Use:

Maxi Stitches
1. Disengage the IDT™ System If your machine has the Integrated Dual Feed (IDT™) system, make sure to turn it off.
2. Attach the Multi-Line Decorative Foot Snap the foot onto your machine
3. Select a Maxi Stitch Choose a Maxi stitch from your machine's stitch menu.
4. Mark the Fabric
   Draw a center guideline where the stitching will be placed.
   For additional alignment, mark one or two parallel lines on each side of the center line.
5. Use Stabilizer Place Tear-Away stabilizer under the fabric to help prevent puckering and distortion.
6. Sew Carefully
   Allow the machine to control the fabric feeding for the most accurate stitch placement.
   Keep the marked lines aligned with the red vertical guidelines on the presser foot to ensure even and precise stitching.
7. Finish Once stitching is complete, remove the Tear-Away stabilizer for a clean, professional result.
