How to Use:

Set Up the Machine Adjust your overlock machine to the desired stitch setting.

Attach the Gathering Foot Snap on the Gathering Foot securely.
To Gather and Stitch Two Layers:

Position the Bottom Fabric Layer Place the bottom layer (fabric to be gathered) between the needle plate and the Gathering Foot, all the way up to the cutter, with the right side facing up.

Position the Top Fabric Layer Insert the top layer into the opening of the Gathering Foot, keeping it even with the bottom layer and right side facing down.

Lower the Presser Foot and Sew Begin sewing while guiding the fabric against the fabric guide. The machine will automatically gather the bottom layer as it feeds, while the top layer remains flat.
To Increase the Fullness of the Gathering:

Increase the Needle Thread Tension This will create tighter gathers.

Set the Differential Feed to a Higher Number This adjusts the fabric feed for more pronounced gathering.

Adjust the Stitch Length to a Higher Number Longer stitches increase the fullness of the gathers.
To Gather a Single Layer:

Make Adjustments Simply place the fabric under the foot and adjust the stitch length, differential feed, and needle thread tension to achieve the desired fullness.
